Jen and Paul's Wedding in Sydney, Australia was showcased by WOW Magazine, an Australian wedding magazine. I did many items for this wedding, but the cork placecards were featured in the magazine. Jen had the vineyard save corks which she used to make DIY placecard holders. I love that they used nicknames for everyone - especially the bride - "Jenny Mac." I've included a picture above of the other reception items I created for the event.
I forgot to post all the extras I did for Jen & Paul's Boston and UK parties! Since they had their wedding in Sydney Australia, Jen wanted to be able to have a way to show pictures to the guests at the UK party. I suggested we do a large collage of photos. Also for the UK party, I did thank you notes and a few signs - one for the guest book and one for taking a shawl since it was an outdoor party. Jen also had photos of them and both of their parents on their wedding date so I did cards showing names and dates.
For Boston party, we did "Test your knowledge of Jen & Paul" quizzes (asking things like where they met, where he proposed, where they were honeymooning as well as many fun facts about the couple). We did a favor card for the Boston sugar cookies, guest book sign, wedding date placecards, thank you notes and finally - one of my favorites. For the hospitality bags, we did custom "Welcome to Boston" tags incorporating their theme.
To match Ashley & Steve's invitations, we incorporated brown, green and opal metallic papers. She chose bright green menus to add some color to the reception tables. I made simple table numbers for Ashley to frame using names from all around Boston. Lastly, I did a custom seating chart to display the seating arrangements.
Kerri's main color is red and instead of using cardstock & print color to show it, we used ribbon corners and envelopes. We used a snow white metallic cardstock mounted on a charcoal grey cardstock with the scarlet red ribbon corners. Perfect for a December winter wedding. I tied together the three inserts using the red ribbon as well. Kerri wanted double envelopes, so I did custom liners with the white metallic paper for her bold red inner envelopes and did plain white outer envelopes.
Erica & Bill were my first destination wedding. Erica wanted to incorporate palm trees, but didn't want it over the top. We decided to pull in the turquoise using ribbon and used this beautiful sand colored metallic paper. The colors truly are those of the Caribbean. I did custom printed envelope liners and guest addressing on the envelopes. We kept it simple with just two inserts, sending guests to their wedding website for travel info. Lastly, thank you notes are also incorporated into their theme.
Laura & Bryan had a small wedding on Cape Cod, then had a big party to celebrate with all their friends and family. This is the invitation set for the after-party. We continued a similar theme of orange & yellow, as well as the same fonts & sun ray design. We opted to use plain white paper so it wasn't as formal looking as the wedding. I also addressed the envelopes and carried the sun ray design over.
Melissa & Mike wanted to tie the invites to everything for the ceremony & reception. We did personal menus, table numbers which they framed, programs and a seating chart. The seating chart was my first ever and it came out great. It was prominently displayed in the lobby when guests walked in. Menus, table numbers and programs were all made from opal metallic cardstock and incorporated brown and burgundy in the text and ribbon colors.
