Real Couples: Danielle & Justin's Cape Cod Wedding

Danielle and Justin had their wedding on Cape Cod, MA last October and I received some great pictures from their photographer, Dan Cutrona Photograph. I created menus, table numbers and placecards that matched their invitation set. I also used one of Dan's photos to create thank you cards for the couple.

Danielle & Justin were my first couple to do embosssed pocketfolds, which came out stunning.Click here to see their invitations.

Magnets- Save the Date, Thank Yous, Baby Announcements

I've been adding a few new products lines to my offering. The first I'd like to introduce is the ability to make magnets! Save-the-date magnets, wedding thank you magnets, and baby announcement magnets are a few of the ways you can send a lasting, high-quality announcement.

Swiss Dot Bridal Shower Invitations

I have done a lot of work with Laura & Mike on their save-the-dates and their invitations (which are coming out soon). Laura's bridal party approached me to do shower invitations and I jumped at the chance. The bridesmaid dresses have swiss dots so that was our main design element. We used the same papers, colors and fonts as the save-the-dates to give a sense of continuity. I also did coordinating thank you notes for the bride.

Erica & Bill were my first destination wedding. Erica wanted to incorporate palm trees, but didn't want it over the top. We decided to pull in the turquoise using ribbon and used this beautiful sand colored metallic paper. The colors truly are those of the Caribbean. I did custom printed envelope liners and guest addressing on the envelopes. We kept it simple with just two inserts, sending guests to their wedding website for travel info. Lastly, thank you notes are also incorporated into their theme.

Thank You!

One big item this year has been thank you notes. This is a great addition to any set of invitations -whether it be for a wedding, shower or baby. Alternatively, it doesn't have to be for any special occasion. I can create personalized stationery just for you as well. All these folded notes, which are 5.5" x 4.5" and come with coordinating envelopes. I can also do return address and recipient address for an extra fee.

Jen & Paul's Sydney Extras

Here are the ceremony and reception extras for Jen & Paul's Sydney wedding. We did double-sided long, skinny programs, a guest book sign, as well as a sign to go on a basket of pashminas (what a thoughtful idea! I forgot it is fall down under right now). For favors, they will be giving each guest a bottle of wine from the winery, complete with custom designed wine tags. Since it's a small wedding, they used nicknames for their placecards and Jen will do some DIY work to insert the placecards into corks from the winery. Lastly, coordinating thank you cards bring in the vineyard theme. To see their invitation set, click here.

Erin's Baby Shower Invitations

Everything about Erin's baby shower was going to be blue and brown, so what better way to give the guests a sneak peak then by matching invitations. Erin had two cute poems and wanted to see if I could incorporate them. She wanted fun and classy, but not babyish. When she mentioned liking ones with a pregnant woman, I had a brainstorm about putting the poem inside the woman! I used the other poem for her matching thank you cards. We added custom printed envelope liners to the shower invite which I think tied it all together. On the front of the envelope, we added "Guess who's arriving September 4th!" Good luck Erin, he'll be here soon!

Jen's Vintage Shower Invites

Jen came to me after seeing a vintage themed invitation with a red and turquoise color scheme. She had also found vintage tableclothes that carried to same color scheme. I used the invite design as inspiration, but totally made it my own with this bold damask pattern.

To make a bolder statement, we chose red envelopes and topped it off with custom made envelope liners with Jen & Paul's names. Jen even took a picture of the Thank You note at the shower to show me the vintage themed look.

Jen & Paul's UK Celebration

You may have seen Jen & Paul's Save the Date on this blog - they are the couple having three wedding celebrations - Sydney, United Kingdom and Boston. Here is the invitation for the UK party. We went for a modern looking invitation using circles, dots, and an all lowercase font. I also did matching Thank You notes.

Fun & Sassy Bridal Shower Invites

Fun & Sassy was the mission for these invites. They found perfect polka-dotted plates & napkins to go along with my theme. Pink & brown are the wedding colors, so we decided to jump on that and coordinate. Love the fun pink envelopes to add a punch of color. Matching thank you cards to come. They are always a nice add-on and the bride will sure need them!
