Pocketfold Invitations - Vibrant Fall Leaves

I just posted Cindy and Jeff's save-the-dates and here is their pocketfold set. We used all the same graphics, cardstocks, and fonts for consistency. I just love the vibrant colors of this set. We created two sets of "the plan" and RSVP cards as some included the rehearsal dinner and a day after breakfast for some guests. I added leaves on the envelopes to give guests a hint as to what was inside.

Save-the-dates - Vibrant Fall Leaves

I started working with Cindy and Jeff months ago on their save-the-dates, which I finally got a chance to photograph. I created a Z-card style which included fun cartoon like images telling everyone of the wedding events. We used a calendar indicate the date. Invitations coming next...stay tuned.

Butterfly Invitations - Jaime-Rita & Mike

Jaime-Rita didn't have much of an idea of what she wanted for a design during her consult until I started to ask some questions...then I realized she loves butterflies. Done! I found this simple, graceful butterfly graphic.

We pulled in greens and browns with a simple white cardstock. I added a green backer to the RSVP card to add a punch of color. Shimmery tan envelope liners added a touch of elegance and I added the butterfly all over the envelopes to tie it together.

For the wedding, I did long, skinny programs and a seating chart.

Going to the National Stationery Show!

Tomorrow morning, my husband and I head to New York City for the National Stationery Show. We'll be scouring the exhibit hall to find new vendors and products to add to my line. I'll be sure to post anything new I find when I come back... and maybe I'll find some time soon to take photos of all the work I've done this year. I've been a bad blogger!

Jennifer & Hannes - Bilingual Wedding Invitations

I worked with Jennifer & Hannes months ago to create these very unique, personal invitations and forgot to post them. They are planning a wedding in Germany, so we did bilingual invitations. The castle they are getting married at is beautiful and they wanted to incorporate it into the design. We started with an abstract design, but when Hannes' father, an architect, saw the designs, he asked if he could do the drawings. So, we changed all the illustrations and he did all the drawings by hand. They came out incredible.

Hundreds and Hundreds of Colors

In an attempt to find as many different colors of cardstock available, I have added a number of new vendors to my line. I have hundreds of color choices, including matte, metallic, patterned and recycled papers.

Postage Increase - May 11, 2009

Just a heads up that the post office has decided to increase the postage yet again on May 11th. It will be 2 cents extra for 1 and 2 oz. rate envelopes.

The majority of invitations take the 2oz rate, which will increase from 59 to 61 cents. RSVP envelopes will go from 42 cents to 44. We don't know when the new wedding stamps will be out.

For those brides mailing around the time of the increase...If your RSVP date is close to May 11th, I would not take any chances. Go for the extra 2 cents (or just use a Forever stamp). If you are sure all of your RSVPs will come back well before May 11th, go ahead and use the current wedding stamps.

Anyone mailing after May 11th must increase their postage. Places like Zazzle that create custom postage cannot increase their rate until the post office does, so if you are doing custom postage, you'll have to wait to order until the new rates are out.

60th Birthday Party Note Cards

I've been working a lot with Laura lately and she came to me needing help for her parent's 60th birthday parties. She was hosting a party and and wanted to create a book of memories for them. She sent these cute note cards to each guest ahead of time so they could write down a memory of both of her parents. She's going to compile them in a scrapbook.

Magnets- Save the Date, Thank Yous, Baby Announcements

I've been adding a few new products lines to my offering. The first I'd like to introduce is the ability to make magnets! Save-the-date magnets, wedding thank you magnets, and baby announcement magnets are a few of the ways you can send a lasting, high-quality announcement.

Valentine Cards

I was able to work on Erin's baby shower invitations last summer and she came to me asking for Valentine cards. I was excited to try something new. We decided on square to be a little different, bold red envelopes with a heart shaped return address, an adorable photo of Dylan, tons of hearts and a kid's handwriting font to top it off.
