Tracy & Pat's Pink & Black Wedding

Tracy has been an amazing friend for over 10 years and I was in her bridal party. I was so excited to do her invitations...and she had to have been the easiest bride to work with. What bride says "do whatever you like!" Tracy said she wanted simple yet classy. I had wanted to try ribbon corners and did a quick mock-up for Tracy and Pat. They were sold. Black metallic backer with off-white metallic papers and pink ribbon. To add a touch of elegance, we used Thermography printing which has a raised effect. These are certainly not quick invites to produce, but the end result is definitely worth the hours of meticulously adhering ribbon!

Two stories come to mind regarding these invites....after receiving her invite, one guest returned her dress and bought a new one because she thought the invitation was so elegant that she wouldn't have been dressed properly! And a co-worker of Tracy called to say his wife saved the invitation for when their daughter gets married - keep in mind the daughter is only 10 years old!
